Geoff Osgood, Chairman

Geoff started his career with AEI (now part of DHL) in 1975. He held various operational positions before transferring to Chicago in 1982 as the Mid-West sales manager.

In 1985 he moved to New York to Take up a position as East Coast sales manager for Pandair (now part of DHL).

 

Upon his return to the UK he took up senior sales management positions with Expeditors International in London.

In 2007 he started his own company PNC Global Logistics until its sale in 2017 in which E-commerce became an important service alongside the more traditional products of sea/air and customs brokerage.

 

His experience of all aspects of the business both here in the UK and worldwide gives the company a valuable resource.

Rob and Tim, Directors

RIOZ was born from friendship, Rob Osgood and Tim Rivers were in their early 20s when they decided to form a business together. Hungry to make their mark in the Logistics world, RIOZ is an acronym inspired by the founders’ names, RI from Tim Rivers and OZ from Rob Osgood.

“We started this business as friends, and we try to project that in our business, how we deal with our staff, how we deal with our clients, it’s all very personable and positive…That is the nature of who we are,” said Rob.

The two friends met during their school days as young boys in the UK; they played football together and attended the same schools as they grew. Rob’s father, Geoff Osgood ran his own logistics company with experience of over 40 years in the industry, this is where Rob and Tim learned their trade.

 

Now enjoying relationships with a number of prestigious clients, RIOZ have grown their business and service capabilities, implementing and streamlining global supply chains.
